Today Latvian team RE Autoclub is preparing to participate in one of the Russian winter rally raid championship stages – Baja „White Hills”. With RE Autoclub prepared car („Toyota Landcruiser 200”) will drive Dakar 2012 pilot Alexander Terentyev with co-pilot Konstantin Meshcheryakov.

Winter championship „Baja White Hills” will be held from 23rd till 26th of February in one of the oldest cities in Russia – Belgorod, and it will be one of the first Russian rally raid championship cup stages.

RE Autoclub team director Roberts Elbakjans: ”This will be a very beautiful competition. Will be possibility to discover the steep mountain road and even straight snowy road. Anyway – we can’t underestimate this track. This is the first Russian rally raid championship cup stage, great practice and preparation stage before World championship, wich will be held in Italy in the middle of March.” About RE Autoclub possible participation and number of car crews Elbakjans keep silence.

In this rally raid sportmans will need to drive almost 400 km long distance by the Russian off-road snow covered mountains and valleys. On the first rally raid stage sportsmen must pass the technical testing and take a small warm – up lap. On the following days sportsmen will have a real and serious competition between twenty-five crews.
